Restore

OMN4 restore is a sign-in and sync workflow. There is no separate Restore button for normal recovery.

Restore on a New Device

  1. Install OMN4 on the new or reset device.
  2. Sign in with the same Apple, Google, or email-based account you used before.
  3. Wait for first sync to finish.
  4. Check that your routes, tracks, waypoints, and settings have returned.
  5. Open Map Management and download the offline maps you need on this device.

What Comes Back Automatically

Supported synced data should return once Anquet Cloud sync finishes:

  • routes
  • tracks
  • waypoints
  • settings
  • activity types
  • supported icon imports

First sync can take longer if you have a large route library. During setup, OMN4 may show messages such as Setting up OMN, Preparing your account, and Opening your maps.

What You Still Need to Recreate or Re-download

  • offline maps
  • device-specific permissions
  • anything that was never synced or exported

If Something Is Missing

Check that:

  • you signed in with the correct account
  • the old device had time to sync before it was replaced
  • the new device has internet access

If needed, use Manual Sync and then Sync Issues.

If the missing item is an offline map, open Map Management and download that map on this device.
