Sync and Backup
Restore
To restore your OMN4 data on a new device, sign in with the same account you used before and allow sync time to complete.
Typical Restore Process
- install OMN4 on the new device
- sign in with the same Apple, Google, or email-based account
- wait for your synced data to appear
- re-download any offline maps you need on that device
What Comes Back Automatically
Supported synced data such as routes, tracks, waypoints, settings, and other personal preferences should return once cloud sync finishes.
What You Still Need To Recreate Or Re-download
- offline maps
- device-specific permissions
- anything that was never synced or exported
If Something Is Missing
Check that:
- you signed in with the correct account
- the old device had time to sync before it was replaced
- the new device has internet access
If needed, use Manual Sync and then Sync Issues.
