What Syncs
OMN4 sync keeps supported personal working data in step when you are signed in with the same OMN4 account.
Syncs Through Anquet Cloud
When sync is working normally, OMN4 can sync:
- routes
- tracks
- waypoints
- settings
- activity types
- supported icon imports
This is the data you normally expect to return after signing in on another device and allowing sync time to complete.
Managed per Device
These items are not copied to every device by sync:
- downloaded offline maps
- temporary caches
- platform permissions such as location access
Your OMN4 account controls map access and subscriptions, but each device manages its own map downloads, storage, updates, and verification.
Why This Matters
Personal working data is small enough to keep in cloud sync. Offline map data can be large, so OMN4 lets each device choose what to store.
If a route appears on a new phone but the map underneath it does not, that is usually a map-download task rather than a sync failure.
Moving data between OMN2/3 and OMN4 is a separate bridge workflow. See Move Data Between OMN2/3 and OMN4 if you are moving from earlier OMN software.
