Sync and Backup
Manual Sync
Most syncing in OMN4 happens automatically, but there are times when you may want to check it manually.
When Manual Sync Helps
- you made changes on one device and want to see them on another straight away
- you have just signed in and want to confirm the latest data is present
- a device has been offline for a while
What To Do
- make sure you are signed in to the same OMN4 account on both devices
- give the device an internet connection
- use any Sync now or sync refresh control shown in the part of the app you are using
- wait for pending changes to complete before closing the app
If You Cannot See A Sync Control
Not every screen shows a manual sync button. In that case, keep the app open for a short time on a live connection and check again on the other device.
