Manual Sync

Most syncing in OMN4 happens automatically, but there are times when you may want to check it manually.

When Manual Sync Helps

  • you made changes on one device and want to see them on another straight away
  • you have just signed in and want to confirm the latest data is present
  • a device has been offline for a while

What To Do

  • make sure you are signed in to the same OMN4 account on both devices
  • give the device an internet connection
  • use any Sync now or sync refresh control shown in the part of the app you are using
  • wait for pending changes to complete before closing the app

If You Cannot See A Sync Control

Not every screen shows a manual sync button. In that case, keep the app open for a short time on a live connection and check again on the other device.
