Units and Precision
Use Settings > Units to choose how OMN4 shows distance and height measurements.
Unit Options
- Unit of Distance
- Unit of Height
Distance can be shown in kilometres or miles. Height can be shown in metres or feet.
Where Units Are Used
Unit choices affect the way OMN4 displays measurements across the app, including:
- route and track distances
- speed labels in Activity Types
- ascent and descent labels in Activity Types
- height values shown in map and route-related views
Changing units does not alter your saved data. It changes how measurements are presented.
Precision
Coordinate precision is configured in Settings > Coordinates, not Settings > Units. Use Coordinate Systems if you want to change coordinate format, grid detail, prefix letters, or spaces.
Track distance filtering is configured in Settings > Tracklogs. Use Tracklog Settings if you want to change Track Distance Threshold.
