Viewing Points on the Map
Use Points Explorer with the map screen when you want to match a table row to the point it represents on the map.
Highlight A Point
When Points Explorer is open, selecting a row can select the matching point on the map. Selecting a matching point on the map can also update the row highlight in Points Explorer.
On desktop, moving the pointer over a row can highlight the matching point while the pointer stays over the row.
Use View
Use View when you want OMN4 to centre the map on a specific point.
- Open Points Explorer for a route, track, or waypoint item.
- Open the point row's menu.
- Choose View.
On desktop, View centres the map from the Points Explorer window. On mobile, OMN4 returns to the map first, then navigates to the point.
If the parent route, track, or waypoint item is hidden from the map, View can show it again before navigating. Points Explorer does not have a separate map-visibility switch; it only helps you view and select points.
Row Menu
The row menu can include:
- View
- Properties...
- Move... in Waypoints mode
- Copy to Clipboard, with This row and All rows
- Delete
General library visibility is managed outside Points Explorer. Full route, track, and waypoint show/hide guidance belongs with the broader Routes, Tracks & Waypoints docs.
