Columns and Layout
Use Settings > Points Explorer to control which columns appear in Points Explorer and how the table is laid out.
Change The Layout
- Open Settings.
- Open the Points Explorer section.
- Choose the Mode you want to configure: Route, Track, or Waypoints.
- Use the column list to show, hide, resize, or reorder columns.
The controls let you:
- tick or untick a column to show or hide it
- change the width of a column by entering a number (any value from 40 to 600)
- use the up and down arrow buttons to move a column earlier or later in the table
- use Show All, Hide All, or Reset
Modes
Route and Track modes support the same set of available columns, but their default-visible columns are different. For example, Track mode shows more recorded GPS and time fields by default, while Route mode focuses more on route-planning totals.
Route and Track modes share this full set of available columns:
- Name
- Position
- Altitude
- Symbol
- Comment
- Description
- Alt Min
- Alt Max
- GPS Alt
- GPS Accuracy
- Distance
- Total Dist
- Hidden Dist
- Hidden Total
- Time
- Time Total
- Time Moving
- Time Stationary
- ETA
- ETA Total
- Speed
- Bearing
- Alt Gain
- Alt Loss
- Alt Gain Total
- Alt Loss Total
- Latitude
- Longitude
Waypoints mode has fewer available columns:
- Name
- Position
- Altitude
- Symbol
- Comment
- Description
By default, Waypoints mode shows Name, Position, and Altitude.
What Is Shared
Column visibility is saved separately for each mode.
Column order and column widths are shared across all modes, so changing the order or width of a column can affect Route, Track, and Waypoints views.
Sorting
Points Explorer does not currently sort rows when you select a column header.
Route points appear in route order. Track points appear in recording order. Points in Waypoints mode appear in the order used by that waypoint item.
