Editing Routes

After creating a route, you may need to make changes. OMN provides tools to edit your routes on PC and macOS.

Opening a Route for Editing

1. Open the GPX Manager
2. Find your route in the list
3. Double-click to open it on the map
4. Select the route to enter edit mode

Editing Operations

Moving Waypoints

1. Click on a waypoint to select it
2. Drag it to a new position
3. Release to place it

Adding Waypoints

To add a new waypoint between existing ones:

1. Hover over the line between two waypoints
2. Click and drag to create a new waypoint
3. Position it where needed

Deleting Waypoints

1. Select the waypoint you want to remove
2. Press the Delete key
3. The route will reconnect around the deleted point

Extending a Route

To add more waypoints to the end of a route:

1. Right-click on the last waypoint
2. Select "Continue Route"
3. Add waypoints as normal
4. Right-click and select "End Route" when finished

Saving Changes

Your changes are saved automatically. The updated route will sync to your other devices next time you run Sync.

Tips

• Zoom in for precise editing
• Use the route profile to check elevation changes after editing
• Sync after making changes to update your other devices
