Glossary
This glossary explains the terms used throughout OMN4. Where app labels differ from generic wording, the app label is used for the entry name.

- Change Map: The map screen control for choosing a different map type.

Routes, Tracks And Waypoints

- Add Waypoint: The map action for creating a saved point.
- folder: A container for organising routes, tracks, and waypoints.
- account-wide default style: The concrete Route, Tracklog, or Waypoint default edited in Settings > Styles. It is used when no item or folder sets the property.
- explicit /

- Goto Grid Reference: The map menu or floating action button entry that opens coordinate entry.
- Go to Grid Reference: The window or page title after Goto Grid Reference opens.

- No Icon (set): An explicit choice to display no icon. It is different from Reset and does not follow a later parent icon change.
- parent: The folder immediately above an item or folder in Routes, Tracks & Waypoints.
- Reset: Remove a local style choice so the property inherits from its parent again.
