Getting Started
Overview
OMN4 is designed so you can plan on desktop, use maps on mobile, and keep your routes, tracks, waypoints, and settings together through Anquet Cloud. This section covers the first steps that matter most when you are new to the app.
Your First Setup
- Install OMN4 on the device you want to use.
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
- Let the first sync finish so your OMN4 account, subscriptions, routes, tracks, waypoints, and settings are up to date.
- Open Map Management if you want to download maps or refresh newly purchased mapping.
What To Learn Next
- Download OMN4 is the website platform chooser. The platform install pages explain the current route for each device.
- Install on Windows, Install on macOS, Install on iOS, and Install on Android cover platform-specific installation.
- Sign In and Sync explains the login flow and what the first sync does.
- Move Data Between OMN2/3 and OMN4 explains how to use the bridge during a staged move to OMN4.
- Map Screen Basics introduces the main map controls.
- Overview in the Maps section explains streamed maps, offline downloads, and storage.
Good To Know
- Your account is identified by your email address, even if you sign in through Apple or Google.
- Map downloads and place-search data are separate. You can use one without the other.
- Desktop and mobile share the same core data, but some tools are easier on one platform than the other.
