GPX Manager

GPX Manager

The GPX Manager (GM) is your central hub for organising routes, tracklogs, and waypoints in OMN. Use it to import, export, and sync your GPX data across devices.

Opening the GPX Manager

  • PC: Click the GM icon on the toolbar
  • macOS: Select GPX Manager from the menu
  • Mobile: Tap the menu button and select GPX Manager

Interface Overview

The GPX Manager window has two main panels:

  • Left panel: Displays your folders (e.g., Hills, Lakes, My Routes)
  • Right panel: Shows GPX files within the selected folder

Key Features

Organising with Folders

Create folders to organise your routes and tracklogs:

  1. Click the "New Folder" button
  2. Enter a name for your folder
  3. Drag and drop GPX files to organise them

Importing GPX Files

To import GPX files from your computer:

  1. Open the GPX Manager
  2. Select the destination folder (or create a new one)
  3. Press the "Import" button
  4. Select one or multiple GPX files
  5. Click "Open"

OMN will import each file and save it to your chosen directory. When importing a single file, the application automatically opens it for viewing.

Syncing Across Devices

The GPX Manager includes sync functionality to keep your routes and tracklogs synchronised across all your devices via Anquet Cloud.

  1. Open the GPX Manager
  2. Press the "Sync" button
  3. Wait for synchronisation to complete

Any new routes or tracklogs will be uploaded to the cloud, and any files from your other devices will be downloaded.
